Because I made a post on my most recent adventures of dealing with my depression, I posted it to shared it to my personal blog and shared it to Oppo, it was there for maybe 5 minutes then it was gone from Oppo.

That’s a legit bummer but stuff gets un-shared all the time, I can’t tell you who did it or why...but I can tell you this post doesn’t serve a constructive purpose and I suggest you consider deleting it though I wont do it myself.

Hopefully you get some good feedback on your issues. However I will say to you what we’ve said to others in similar situations and that is that while we all wish you the best mental health we all caution you as using oppo as a therapy sounding board. Don’t confuse it as me saying we don’t want you to have friends here, but that we want you and others to understand that using a social forum more than casually is inherently an unproductive and unhealthy form of therapy.

The ability to unshare might be changing again. In the past, there were times when any author could unshare both posts and comments. We appear to be back to that. As far as I know, none of us unshared your post.

This looks like it’s been resolved to the degree that it can be, taking Kinja’s eccentricities into account. That is good.

However: If you’d email us about something like this in the future, I think it’s better for all parties involved.

I don’t see the need for a public post to put the mod crew on blast, especially because we didn’t do it.

This is not to say I don’t want you to call us on true examples of bullshit, please do , but just make sure that’s actually what it is. People don’t like to be accused of things, and that goes double when they weren’t actually responsible.
